Coweta County Jail Visits
Coweta County Jail does not provide face-to-face social visits. Social visitation is handled by JailATM video visitation. Each inmate receives one free video visit per week, and each visit is limited to 15 minutes. Attorneys have more options: a private jail booth video visit, an approved attorney JailATM video account, or face-to-face contact in the jail area. Inmates in disciplinary segregation may be visited only by attorneys, law-enforcement officials, and facility chaplains.

Coweta County Jail Mail and Money

Coweta County Jail Booking
A Coweta County arrest generally moves through jail arrival, identity confirmation, property inventory, fingerprints, booking photo when required, charge entry, warrant or hold checks, medical and mental-health screening, bond or no-bond entry, classification, and housing assignment. Inmates cannot receive incoming calls, but the jail FAQ says they may place outgoing calls daily from about 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 p.m., subject to jail operations and discipline.
Money carried into booking is automatically placed on the inmate commissary account. If money is to be released to someone outside the jail, the form must be completed while the inmate is still in booking. Once money posts to the account, release is limited to an approved bonding company or a person with financial power of attorney, with pickup limits on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

A professional bonding company must be registered and authorized by the Coweta County Sheriff's Office, and a bonding company licensed in another county is not acceptable for a Coweta professional bond.
